Got questions? We’ve got answers. Here’s everything you need to know about working with us.
It delivers repeatable, micron-accuracy alignment in an extremely small form factor, without magnets. With a simple push to klik installation, pitch to release actuation, and low part count distinguishes it from conventional quick-release or kinematic systems.
It can be miniaturised down to 4 mm in diameter while maintaining repeatable alignment and reliable mechanical feedback.
Klik-On® can be produced in metal and polymer via CNC machining, die casting, injection moulding, and additive manufacturing. Its simple, symmetric geometry simplifies scaling and high-volume production.
Yes. Licensing is available for designers, engineers, and manufacturers seeking to integrate the mechanism into commercial products. Support includes technical guidance and integration best practices.
It can be embedded directly into substrates or attached via fastening, press-fit, welding, or custom mounting features. The cylindrical symmetry allows flexible orientation and integration across diverse assemblies.
Yes. The non-magnetic design and predictable mechanical behaviour make it appropriate for medical devices, scientific instrumentation, including ultra-high vacuum and cryogenic environments, as well as areas where electromagnetic interference, or particulate risk must be minimised.
A kinematic mount is a high-precision, 3-point attachment configuration that fixes an object's position to its base by restricting 5 out of 6 degrees of freedom (2 translations, 3 rotations) without over-constraining it. The remaining 6th degree of freedom is free so that the object can be detached from the base. The standard Klik-On® design uses 3 balls fixed on the attachment side (the "object"), which then mount in the mechanism's slotted conical seats (the "base"). Kinematic mounts are widely used in optics and metrology, where stability and micron-level repeatability are critical.
Klik-On® is entering TRL 6, with in-house validation completed and early partner testing underway. Ongoing development is focused on sector-specific adaptations in scientific and audiovisual systems.
At the moment it is a purely mechanical coupling designed for precise, repeatable connections, but customised integrations can be developed.
